Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest child of the singer Dionne Warswick, and gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a musical household. In her early years, she sang in her New Hope Baptist Church in Newark. When she reached the age of 15years old, Houston was singing professionally with backing vocals alongside her mother in Chaka Khan's song from 1978 Im Every Woman. She continued to offer back vocals to Lou Rawls Jermaine Jackson and her own mother and did a brief stint as a model appearing on the front cover of Seventeen magazine in 1981. The year 1981 saw her begin to work as a vocalist in the New York funk group Material. Her quality vocal performance with this group that caught interest of recording label including Arista. The first Whitney Houston album was released in 1985. It would become one of the most successful album by a musician. Several hit singles including the hit songs Saving All My Love For You How Do I know It's Good to Love You and The greatest Love of All were released from the album, setting the stage for her to beat the Beatles with seven consecutive US number ones. Album was sold out in US 3,000,000 copies and then went to 25,000,000 worldwide. It gave her the first of her six Grammy Awards. The Whitney 1987 record, which included Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as songs, grew on the success she had achieved. The 1992 film The Bodyguard sealed her spot as one of the most successful musicians in history. While the movie and the actress' performance were not well-received, the soundtrack album that featured her interpretation of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was the top-selling album and single for a number of months. It sold over 44 million copies across the globe. In the same year she gave birth to her daughter Bobbi she married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. Her daily use of drugs was documented.
Dana Bash, also known by the name Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist. She is a correspondent for politics for CNN. The anchor has also created certain of the network's Sunday programs such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition as well as Inside Politics.' She was also a reporter for other famous channels before, including NBC as well as CBS. Bash has received many awards as well as a spot on the Women in Washington Power List from Elle magazine. She is known to have amazing anchoring and reporting skills, and is admired by young journalists. The George Washington University graduate is an extremely loving mom of a son.
